Materia prioritizes data security and continuously monitors its measures. Our Trust Portal provides access to our monitors, evidence, and policies, and we received our SOC 2 Type II. We partner with Eden Data for robust security controls and processes.
Private AI
Materia never trains models on any data you provide, so your data remains yours. We assess generative AI providers carefully and ensure contractual and policy protections are in place upstream.
Enterprise Governance
Materia has built in tools to meet data rentention requirements, and automatically syncs user permissions with upstream source systems. Materia also provides Admins with dashboards for transparent insight into usage behavior.

Your data remains yours & only yours. We do not train any models on content you provide to Materia. We inherit & enforce user level data access controls for any system integrated with Materia, and we believe in least-privilege access for our team internally.
